Coeliac Panel
(Total IgA antibodies, Anti-Tissue
Transglutaminase IgA Antibodies &
Anti-Endomysial IgA Antibodies)
To help screen for coeliac disease and to monitor compliance to and the effectiveness of a gluten-free diet. This test detects autoantibodies that the body produces as part of the immune response to gluten, a protein found in wheat. If you are on a gluten-free diet please do not select this test (as there may be false-negative results) unless you are using it to monitor the effectiveness of exclusion of gluten from your diet. For the result to be accurate in terms of the diagnosis of possible coeliac disease you need to be on a gluten-containing diet for at least 6 weeks

To help screen for iron deficiency or overload, such as occurs haemochromatosis
Full Blood Count + 5-part Diff
To determine your general health status and to screen for a variety of disorders, such as anemia, cancer and infection
Prostate Specific Antigen
(PSA) males 40+
To screen asymptomatic and symptomatic men for prostate cancer, to help determine the necessity for a biopsy of the prostate, to monitor the effectiveness of treatment for prostate cancer, and to detect recurrence of prostate cancer
Thyroid Function Profile
(TSH & FT4)
This panel which includes Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) and Free Thyroxine 4 (FT4) will screen for and help diagnose hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism can cause anxiety, increased heart rate, weight loss, difficulty sleeping, hand tremors, general weakness and visual isturbances. Hypothyroidism can cause weight gain, dry skin, constipation, cold intolerance, puffy skin, hair loss, fatigue and menstrual irregularities in women
Enhanced Cardiac Rick Profile
Measures Lipoprotein A and High Sensitivity CRP which detect inflammation associated with heart disease, inflammatory conditions, and sepsis
Vitamin D
Known as the sunshine vitamin, Vitamin D is essential for bone
and general health. This test will screen for Vitamin D deficiency
which may increase your risk of osteoporosis, and possibly certain
other conditions
Gout Test: Uric Acid
To detect high levels of uric acid, which could be a sign of gout
Liver Function
To detect liver damage caused by hepatitis, alcohol or prescription drugs

To determine if your kidneys are functioning normally and to monitor treatment for kidney disease
